  1. Blake Desjarlais (born December 29, 1993) is a Canadian politician who has represented Edmonton Griesbach in the House of Commons since 2021. A member of the New Democratic Party (NDP), Desjarlais is of Cree and Métis descent, making him Alberta 's only Indigenous member of Parliament (MP).

  2. Blake is the NDP’s Critic for Indigenous Housing, Treasury Board, Diversity & Inclusion, Youth, and Sport. He is part of the NDP’s negotiation team for the 2022-2025 Supply and Confidence Agreement between the NDP Opposition and Liberal Government.
