Blanchette Ferry Rockefeller (née Hooker; October 2, 1909 – November 29, 1992) was an American art sponsor, twice president of the Museum of Modern Art, and wife of John D. Rockefeller III and mother of Jay Rockefeller.
Blanchette Ferry Hooker, senior year at Vassar. Like her mother, Blanchette attended Vassar College, graduating in 1931 with a degree in music. She received B’s and C’s, which before grade inflation marked her as a relatively strong student.

The residence was constructed as a guest house for philanthropist Blanchette Rockefeller, who was married to John D. Rockefeller III. It was the only private residence in New York City that Johnson designed. The two-story building contains a symmetrical facade of brick at ground level and glass above.
