5. Apr. 2007 · KSolow April 5, 2007, 12:42pm 3.
Pros: Great academic experience, personal attention from teachers, nice and intelligent peers, great freshmen dorms, great food
.
Cons: cold weather, everyone is the same i.e. upper-middle class, liberal, preppy, new englanders/new yorkers (including me), cliques–can’t escape them, for some people ...
1. Apr. 2020 · I am grappling with my May 1st decision deadline and was wondering if anyone could provide me with insight. Bowdoin is my number 1 school, but if I went there I would have a 20K a year financial aid gap. I am from North Carolina, so the school is quite far away. I have been offered admission and better aid at Wake Forest and UNC-Chapel Hill. I know that Bowdoin is more reputable than both of ...
13. Nov. 2017 · ReallyOk November 26, 2017, 6:38pm 5. One could write a book about what makes Bowdoin unique, but let me list a few things that stand out to me. 2. Apr. 2024 · Mine preferred Bates & Bowdoin to Colby, mostly because Colby seemed more remote, especially if flying in and out of Boston. Boston to Bowdoin/Bates is only a 2-hour drive (a bit longer if by bus). Also, Bowdoin and Bates have a lot you can walk to - cafes, restaurants. I think Colby requires a shuttle to town.

3. Apr. 2012 · I think 1800ish, right?), but the difference is not huge. Williams is also, I believe, a bit more diverse, Bowdoin has a higher concentration of New England kids and also a smaller population of minority / international students than Williams, but the difference is not extreme in either case.
.
23. März 2024 · Wait-listed — The Bowdoin Orient. Admissions season is coming to a close. The decisions have been made, and the letters have been sent.
