Posts must be related to Brandon Sanderson or his works. Posts relating to sensitive topics (such as politics, religions, etc.) will be subject to greater scrutiny. Memes, shitposts, etc. are permitted so long as they are sufficiently relevant. Self-promotion is permitted so long as the post is relevant and the user is involved beyond ...
26. Juni 2022 · Have you seen Brandon's online writing lectures from his Spring 2020 class? In my opinion they are a better teacher on how to outline than this is, because Brandon directly speaks on what elements of a story he focuses on when outlining and writing and why each one is important. This way you can structure your own outline to your specifications using the same logic.
23. März 2023 · Not sure how, or if, I should respond to the Wired article. I get that Jason, in writing it, felt incredibly conflicted about the fact that he finds me lame and boring. I’m baffled how he seemed to find every single person on his trip--my friends, my family, my fans--to be worthy of derision. But he also feels sincere in his attempt to try to ...
2. Okt. 2017 · The only reason I know of Brandon Sanderson's religion is because other people told me. I have no idea what belief my other favorite author's hold, because it isn't relevant. All I care about is a good story. If that story happens to be religious and good, then I'll read it, no problem.
I would recommend you start with the first Mistborn trilogy, but if you want to read some of his best work without committing to a big series, you can try "The Emperor's Soul" Novella. It's excellent, it showcases a lot of Sanderson's strengths as a writer, and it won a Hugo award. Reply reply. sirgog.

The Stormlight Archive is the Crem de la Crem of the Cosmere but not always the best place to begin with Brandon but if you're a big GRRM fan like I was it'll scratch that itch in a lot of ways.
13. Dez. 2022 · Muswell42. •. Fun fact: There is time between now and the 19th. Time that is prior to the end of the year. If an announcement were to be made by someone else (e.g. a production company) before then, he could follow up on State of the Sanderson and it wouldn't be him making an announcement.
So it was after the Dawnchant was written. Yes. But since it hasn't been written yet, the timeline is not canon for that yet. Regardless of what happens to the Aether books itself, Aethers are still canon in the cosmere as a piece shows up atleast once in Stormlight.
This was so fascinating and inspiring, that I gave him 200 dollars for all 4 books on paperback. I’ve been a fan of GRRM for years and it’s so frustrating that he doesn’t want to finish ASOIAF. So I discovered Brandon Sanderson because I heard that he writes faster than people read, and that he actually finishes his stories. I didn’t ...
12. Jan. 2024 · But I've recommended starting with Tress or Skyward to others. I generally try to base the recommendation on preferences instead of one specific order. I've definitely seen people strongly recommend release order over the secret projects because release order is " as the author intended ".
