Brendan O’Brien (* 23. Juni 1960 in Atlanta) ist ein US-amerikanischer Musikproduzent, Tonmeister und Musiker. Er begann als 14-Jähriger als Gitarrist einer Coverband in Atlanta, ehe er sich als Studiomusiker einen Namen machte. Kurzzeitig fungierte er als Bassist der Georgia Satellites .

He has worked with many groups and artists during his career, such as AC/DC, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bob Dylan, Rage Against the Machine, and Bruce Springsteen.

Brendan O'Brien was born in Hollywood, California on May 9, 1962. He is the son of actor Edmond O'Brien (1915–1985) and actress Olga San Juan (1927–2009).He also has two sisters, television producer Bridget O’Brien Adelman and actress Maria O’Brien.
O'Brien began his acting career in 1973, his first role was in the television film Honor Thy Father.
