Bronisław Bohatyrewicz of Ostoja (24 February 1870 – 9 April 1940) was a Polish military commander and a general of the Polish Army. Murdered during the Katyn massacre, Bohatyrewicz was one of the Generals whose bodies were identified by forensic scientists of the Katyn Commission during the 1943 exhumation.
Bronisław Bohaterewicz. Był jednym z założycieli Samoobrony Ziemi Grodzieńskiej, która broniła Ziem Wschodnich zarówno przed Niemcami, jak i Sowietami. Brał też udział w wojnie polsko-bolszewickiej. W stanie spoczynku zajmował się działalnością kombatancką.

In particular, one of two generals killed by the Soviets was Bronisław Bohatyrewicz from Hrodna, who had also been a commander of Belarusian national self-defence units in 1918-1919. According to historians' estimates, about a quarter of the 14.5 thousands people killed in Katyn were Belarusians.
