Buddy Clark (born Samuel Goldberg, July 26, 1912 – October 1, 1949) was an American popular singer of the Big Band era. He had some success in the 1930s, but his career truly blossomed in the late 1940s, after his return from service in World War II , and he became one of the nation's top crooners .
Buddy Clark (* 10. Juli 1929 in Kenosha, Wisconsin als Walter Clark Jr.; † 8. Juni 1999 in Mission Hills, Kalifornien) war ein US-amerikanischer Jazz-Bassist und Arrangeur. Clark, der zunächst Klavier und Posaune gelernt hatte, wendete sich auf der Highschool dem Kontrabass zu.

Buddy Clark was a popular singer of the 1940s, known for his baritone voice and his hit records with Xavier Cugat's orchestra. He started his career as a band vocalist and radio star in Boston, and later became a Hollywood star with his own radio show and film roles. He died in a plane crash in 1949.
