All of our matriculated students are pursuing a graduate education, with approximately 82% enrolled in a doctoral program. Unlike institutions like NYU, where the majority of students are undergraduates, the focus of our students, faculty, and staff is on obtaining and providing an exemplary doctoral or master's education.
Every applicant to the CUNY Graduate Center's doctoral programs (with a few exceptions) will automatically be considered for five-year funding packages. 90% of incoming doctoral students receive five-year fellowships.
