In 2005, some of the most experienced musicians in the country came together to form Casbah Club, and the chemistry between them resulted in an explosion of exciting new material. When Simon Townshend’s older brother saw Casbah Club playing live at the 100 Club late 2005, he was so impressed he asked the band to support The Who on tour in 2006.

The Casbah Coffee Club fue un club musical de rock and roll ubicado en el área Liverpool, Inglaterra, que funcionó entre 1959 y 1962. El club se encontraba en el sótano de la casona familiar de Mona Best , [ 1 ] y estaba pensado como un club musical de adolescentes, exclusivo para que se reunieran sus hijos ( Pete y Rory) con sus amigos.
