The Casbah Coffee Club fue un club musical de rock and roll ubicado en el área Liverpool, Inglaterra, que funcionó entre 1959 y 1962. 24. Jan. 2024 · The Beatles’ first show since Hamburg was at Mona Best’s Casbah Coffee Club, a venue they hadn’t played at since the Quarrymen days, on 10 October 1959. Stuart Sutcliffe had remained in Hamburg with Astrid Kirchherr, so The Beatles recruited Chas Newby, formerly the rhythm guitarist with The Blackjacks, to play bass.

In 2005, some of the most experienced musicians in the country came together to form Casbah Club, and the chemistry between them resulted in an explosion of exciting new material. When Simon Townshend’s older brother saw Casbah Club playing live at the 100 Club late 2005, he was so impressed he asked the band to support The Who on tour in 2006.
