24. Jan. 2024 · 29 August 1959 was the opening night of the Casbah Coffee Club, a new social club for teenagers, based in the cellar of a large Victorian house at 8 Hayman’s Green, Liverpool. The Casbah Coffee Club was run by Mona Best, mother of one Pete Best and owner of the house.

Rock The Casbah. The Casbah Coffee Club is truly where it all started for The Beatles. Located on Hayman’s Green, the club has been carefully preserved by the Best family, and is currently being furnished to include hotel suites upstairs, while maintaining the original club downstairs.
