Chafyn Grove School provides a well-established and stable family environment for military families, which is essential when children are faced with the instability of one or both of their parents being posted away. For actively serving members of the Armed Forces we provide a 10% discount for day pupils and weekly boarders (4 nights per week).
Sports Facilities. Chafyn Grove School is known for it’s sport. Our children benefit from having everything on their doorstep. On site there is a purpose built two storey sports hall which enables the children to do trampolining, badminton, parkour and indoor games but most importantly ensures when the weather is too bad afternoon games can still continue.
Chafyn Grove is a co-educational preparatory school on the edge of Salisbury, for pupils aged between 3 and 13, and is an Incorporated Charity. It was founded as Salisbury School in 1876, endowed by Julia Chafyn Grove. In 1916, it became a preparatory school and changed its name to Chafyn Grove School. The Pre-Preparatory department opened in 1949 and the school became co-educational in 1980.
