Chas Cronk is an English musician, best known as the bass player and acoustic guitarist for the Strawbs [1] from 1973 to 1980 and again from 2004 to the present. Chas also toured and recorded with Steve Hackett and Rick Wakeman in the 1980s and Cry No More in the 1980/90s.
Charles Cronk. Profile: British bass player, singer and composer. He started in Phillip Goodhand-Tait 's band in 1972. In 1974 he joined Strawbs on Rick Wakeman 's recommendation. From 1981 to 1983, Cronk was a member of Steve Hackett 's band, before joining Roy Hill in 1985 to form Cry No More.
