Charles Huhn (born January 11, 1951) is an American rock singer and guitarist. He got his start playing with Vic Amato, Andy Dennen and Al Lesert in the band Cirrus, in and around Grand Rapids, Michigan, playing many gigs in West Michigan before joining Ted Nugent in 1978.

Charlie Huhn: The Weekend Warrior Interview. By Jeb Wright. Transcribed by Eric Sandberg. Charlie Huhn is coming up on two decades as the lead vocalist/guitarist for Foghat. Way back, in the mid-1970s, a younger Charlie was named as the replacement singer in Ted Nugent’s band.
In the interview that follows, Huhn talks about his life with Foghat and the future plans of the band. We also go back in time and discuss why Victory was not a winner, what it was like to play with the late Gary Moore and, of course, replacing Derek St. Holmes in Ted Nugent’s band. 15. Juli 2021 · Drummer Roger Earl has been there from the beginning and recruited vocalist/guitarist Charlie Huhn in 2000, shortly after the passing original Foghat front man Dave Peverett. Huhn has had a decorated career with such acts as Ted Nugent, Victory, Axel Rudi Pell, and Humble Pie.
