Charlotte was a niece of Thomas Killigrew and stepdaughter of Francis Boyle, 1st Viscount Shannon.

Charlotte Jemima Henrietta Maria Paston, Countess of Yarmouth (née FitzRoy; c. 1650 – 28 July 1684) was one of the many acknowledged illegitimate children of Charles II of England.
Charlotte Jemima Henrietta Maria FitzRoy first married before 1669 to James Howard, son of Thomas Howard. Charlotte married secondly on 17 Jul 1672 to William Paston, 2nd Earl of Yarmouth, son of Sir Robert Paston, 1st Earl of Yarmouth and Rebecca Clayton.
