  1. Chestnut Grove students achieve excellent examination results as demonstrated by a rising trend in performance and academic attainment that consistently exceeds national averages. Engaging teaching and learning is at the heart of Chestnut Grove. The Academy is proud of its inclusive approach in which students of all abilities are supported in order to meet their potential.

The Academy has five Raising Standards Leaders (RSLs) who are responsible for raising standards of achievement and behaviour across a year group (7-11) and perform a role very similar to Heads of Years in other schools. The Raising Standards Leaders remain with their year group throughout your child’s time at Chestnut Grove, moving up with them through the years.
