15. Okt. 2005 · The Critters were an American pop/rock band that formed in New Jersey in the early 1960s. The original lineup consisted of Chris Darway (vocals, guitar), Don Ciccone (vocals, guitar), Jim Ryan (keyboard), Ken Gorka (bass), Jack Decker (drums), and Bob Podstawski (sax).
Organist Chris Darway was the 'odd one out', coming from Brooklyn, but he had studied at the same school as Ryan. 'Mr Dieingly Sad' followed 'Younger Girl' and reached No 17. Their first self-pained topside, (written by Ciccone), it continued the Critters unassuming gentle power, as well as their growth as songwriters.

Mai 2012 · Chris Darway (piano, organ and vocals), Jack Decker (drums), and especially Jimmy Ryan (lead guitar, vocals, and arrangements) would all make their presence felt on the full LP released in August 1966. Younger Girl, the album, included a number of previously issued single sides as well as newly-recorded material.
