Chris Sharrock (born 30 May 1964) is an English drummer, hailing from Bebington, Cheshire (now Merseyside), England. He has been a member of the Icicle Works, the La's, the Wild Swans, World Party, the Lightning Seeds, Robbie Williams's live band, Oasis, Beady Eye and is currently in Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.
Christopher Sharrock is a former Treasury official who became the UK's ambassador to the OECD in Paris in 2016. He has a BA in English and an MSc in economics, and has worked on various policy issues, including public spending, EU and international relations, and sovereign bonds.
Chris Sharrock leads the team that engages with the UN and other international organizations to advance Microsoft's global impact and solutions. He has experience in UK government, data science, and multistakeholder partnerships.

Mr. Chris Sharrock is the is the Vice President of United Nations and International Organizations at Microsoft, based in Paris. Launched in 2020, the team has continued to demonstrate not only the value of multistakeholderism, but how it can be harnessed to advance solutions to global challenges.
Since his career began over two decades ago, Chris has built up an impressive back catalogue which includes playing on the first real Britpop classic, ‘There She Goes’ by The La’s and recording one of the most popular songs of the ’90s, ‘Three Lions on a Shirt’ by Baddiel, Skinner and the Lightning Seeds.
