The Swansea HE+ consortium, which is made up of Gower College Swansea and the City and County’s seven maintained schools with sixth forms, launched in October 2012. This was the consortium’s first visit to Cambridge. Students enjoyed college tours, museum visits, subject talks, and free time in Churchill and Fitzwilliam Colleges.

Apr. 2012 · Churchill College is saddened to report the death on 16 April 2012 of Mr Maersk Mc-Kinney Møller, the Danish shipowner, Honorary Fellow since 1991 and Benefactor to the College, at the age of 98. His watch words of ‘constant care’ have been with me throughout my career at The Møller Centre and are the basis upon which the success of the Centre has grown.
5. Aug. 2024 · Astronomers have discovered that red dwarf stars can produce stellar flares that carry far-ultraviolet (far-UV) radiation levels much higher than previously believed. The discovery suggests that the intense UV radiation from these flares could significantly impact whether planets around red dwarf stars can be habitable.

30. Nov. 2015 · The college built and opened the Churchill Archives Centre in 1973 and Sir Winston’s pre-1945 papers were transferred to the Centre from Oxford’s Bodleian Library in 1974-75. The archive allows unrivalled access into the life, times and mind of Churchill; from his early correspondence with his family, right through to letters from the 1950s where he called for a summit with the Soviet Union.
