Cidny Bullens (formerly known as Cindy Bullens; born March 21, 1950) is an American singer-songwriter, who is best known for serving as backup vocalist on tours and albums with Elton John and Rod Stewart, providing vocals on the soundtrack of the 1978 feature film Grease, and for nine critically acclaimed solo albums.
Since 2007, Cidny has been one-third of “super-group”, The Refugees- with Wendy Waldman and Deborah Holland. Their fourth album is slated for release in early 2023. In 2011, Cidny made the difficult and daunting decision to physically transition from Cindy to Cidny.
Cidny wrote and performed the award-winning his one person show "Somewhere Between: Not An Ordinary Life" around the US from 2016-2018. His new album and first as "Cidny"--"Walkin' Through This...
Cidny Bullens is a songwriter, performer, musician, activist, educator and speaker. Cidny is also a two-time Grammy nominee whose 45-year career in the music business began auspiciously- working with Elton John, Bob Dylan, Gene Clark, Rod Stewart, The Alpha Band, and Pop producer/writer Bob Crewe.
