John Cody Carpenter (born May 7, 1984) is an American musician and composer. He is the son of film director John Carpenter and actress Adrienne Barbeau. Carpenter is mostly known for his work with his godfather and musician Daniel Davies, as well as his various solo projects.

Cody Carpenter was introduced to his first musical instrument at age of three and has been playing and composing original music since. His most notable composing works include Cigarette Burns and Pro-Life in Showtime's Masters of Horror (2005) movie series. In 2018, Cody joined his father and Daniel Davies in scoring the reboot of Halloween.
