Been a long time since I've talked to the people who did it (Wasn't on here was on a competitive MP server). IIRC someone modded out as many combat factors as they could out and just did straight up 1v1 combats on equal footing while changing which tactics can be selected (Not too hard, in fact I've made 2 tactics mods myself, both to just counter guerilla warfare bullshittery

Dez. 2021 · Keep an eye on combat width - definitely the easiest way to overcome the AI and crucial for preventing losses, having the appropriate number of troops to actually fill the front line is perhaps the biggest decider. This is doubly important when considering artillery, a full back line of artillery is brutal, in the late game you should dominate the AI and their weird 4/10/15 stacks.
Better combat, makes combat significantly less static and fits with every pack, while epic fight only lets you fight horizontally, makes you commit to attacks and is really only for dark souls packs. Bc fits more seamlessly with general minecraft gameplay and has compatibility with literally everything, while imo epic fight is kinda clunky ...
So I just started a new game and Im at the point I have to pick between Fighter or Scout. On my previous game I chose Fighter.

Aug. 2023 · DnD combat system had alot of randomness, restrictions and unnecessary randomness because it was designed for an audience that will play it with either no visual representation or minimal visual representation.
