12. Nov. 2012 · Come On In This House. On this 1996 recording the veteran blues harmonica player Junior Wells is teamed up with a stellar lineup of blues guitarists: Alvin Youngblood Hart, Tab Benoit, Sonny Landreth, Derek Trucks, Bob Margolin, John Mooney and Corey Harris.
Come On in This House is an album by the American musician Junior Wells. Released in 1996, it was Wells's final studio album. He supported it with a North American tour. The album was nominated for a Grammy Award, in the "Best Traditional Blues Album" category. It won the W. C. Handy Award for best Traditional Blues Album.
He sings, plays harmonica, and inspires the best from an array of guest guitar soloists—Tab Benoit, Corey Harris, Alvin “Youngblood” Hart, Sonny Landreth, Bob Margolin, John Mooney, Derek Trucks—with a rhythm section comprising of drummer Herman Ernest III, pianist Jon Cleary and bassist Bob Sunda.
