Okt. 2021 · In July 1957, Gillespie played the Newport Jazz Festival and Morgan’s ‘Night In Tunisia’ feature can be heard as a bonus track on the 2007 Compact Disc reissue of Dizzy at Newport (Verve). When Gillespie disbanded his orchestra in early 1958, Morgan settled in New York, and applied to study at Juilliard.
