D&B Together (originally titled Country Life) is the sixth album by Delaney & Bonnie and Friends and their first for Columbia Records. It was their last album of new material, as Delaney and Bonnie Bramlett would divorce soon after its release.

This album was originally released on 8-track tape as 'Country Life' (Atco M-8383, 1972). Atco sold Delaney & Bonnie's contract and the master tapes to CBS, who released it as 'D & B Together' on the Columbia label with the tracks in another sequence and 'Try A Little Harder' replaced by 'I Know How It Feels To Be Lonely'.

Howard Duane Allman (November 20, 1946 – October 29, 1971) was an American rock and blues guitarist and the founder and original leader of the Allman Brothers Band, for which he was posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995. Born in Nashville, Tennessee, Allman began playing the guitar at age 14.

In March, Duane joined the duo for another session on the West Coast for tracks that wouldn’t be released until ‘72 on the D&B Together album. Earlier D&B recordings with Clapton and Dave Mason were added to the album as well. Duane would occasionally join the act on stage, sometimes with Gregg.
