Dakota Staton (later ook bekend als Aliyah Rabia) (Pittsburgh, 3 juni 1931 - New York, 10 april 2007) was een Amerikaanse jazz- en rhythm & blues-zangeres, die enkele hits had in de jaren vijftig. Ze maakte een plaat met pianist George Shearing .
Dakota Staton's deep, husky voice and dynamic, swinging delivery made an immediate impact on the jazz community when she arrived in New York in the mid 1950s. While her initially rising star never provided her with the fame her talent deserved, she continued to record and perform to the delight of audiences in the U.S. and Europe until her death in 2007.
