Dale William Stewart (born 30 November 1979) is a South African musician, best known as the bass guitarist for the South African rock band Seether. [1] Equipment. Lead vocalist and guitarist Shaun Morgan is the band's longest serving member, bassist Dale Stewart joined shortly after formation while drummer John Humphrey joined them for the band's second album. Since 2018, the band has been employing second guitarist Corey Lowery.

Die Band wurde 1999 von Shaun Morgan Welgemoed ( Gesang, Gitarre ), Dale Stewart ( Bass, Gesang) und Dave Cohoe ( Schlagzeug) gegründet. Damals war die Band noch unter dem Namen „Saron Gas“ bekannt. Unter diesem Namen veröffentlichte sie 2000 auch ihr erstes Album „Fragile“, das nur in Südafrika erhältlich ist.
