Daniel L. Minor, Jr. is a professor and principal investigator at UCSF, where he studies the electrosome and electrochemistry of the heart and other organs. He is also a faculty scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and a fellow of the American Asthma Association, the Feinberg Foundation, and the American Heart Association.
MINOR LAB RESEARCH. Our lab employs a range of biochemical, biophysical, structural, and chemical biology approaches to examine the molecular structures, functions, and biogenesis of various classes of ion channels including members of the voltage-gated potassium, voltage-gated calcium, voltage-gated sodium, and K2P channel families.
