Dan Spitz (born January 28, 1963) is an American musician best known for his work as the lead guitarist of the thrash metal band Anthrax from 1983 to 1995 and from 2005 to 2007. Spitz also founded the Christian music group Red Lamb, which was known for lyrics on autism awareness.
Biography. Dan Spitz was the lead guitarist for Anthrax from 1983 to 1995, and again from 2005 through 2007. Prior to Anthrax, he was briefly a member of Overkill. He left music altogether in 1995, citing a loss of interest, and eventually became a certified master Swiss watch maker, which is still his primary occupation.
