Mini Bio. Daniel McDonald was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the youngest of seven siblings. A life member of the Actors Studio, he has also studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, with Paul Curtis of the American Mime Company, and with famed acting teacher Sanford Meisner.

16. Feb. 2007 · Daniel McDonald was a Tony-nominated star of Steel Pier and High Society, who also appeared in Contact, Mamma Mia! and TV shows. He died of brain cancer in 2007, leaving behind his wife and two children.
McDonald died in 2007 after being diagnosed with a brain tumour. A source told the Daily Mail that Theroux reminds her a lot of McDonald and that she is convinced that he sent Justin to her.
