In 1990, Davis formed a new line-up of Blood on the Saddle with Chris Engel (bass) and Danny Rickard (drums). Engel died in 1991. In 1992, Davis recruited drummer John Stephenson (Nip Drivers) and then Michael Hately on bass. In 1992, bass player Caeser Viscarra re-joined the band for shows in Los Angeles.

Rickard has toured around much of the country on a Harley Davidson V-Rod, playing in Competition Bike and Modified Bike for recent seasons, and he has had increasing success.
Danny Rickard is looking to back-up his 2017/2018 Modified Bike title with a 18/19 Competition Bike championship at next weekend’s ANDRA Grand Final in what would be the perfect close to his Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series career. The South Australian racer is preparing to make his debut.

Mark Drew took out the B-Final over Danny Rickard with his most successful pass of the weekend, securing the win and third for the meeting with a 6.807 second pass at 265.85kph. “That was just fantastic, well worth the 3,800km of travel!” Cassar enthused.
