Dariush Mehrjui oder Dariusch Mehrdschui (* 8. Dezember 1939 in Teheran; † 14. Oktober 2023 in Karadsch; persisch داریوش مهرجویی) war ein mehrfach ausgezeichneter iranischer Filmemacher. Er gehörte zu den Pionieren des Neuen Iranischen Films ( Mowdsch-e Now ), in den er den Neorealismus einführte.
Dariush Mehrjui (Persian: داریوش مهرجویی ; 8 December 1939 – 14 October 2023) was an Iranian filmmaker and a member of the Iranian Academy of the Arts. Mehrjui was a founding member of the Iranian New Wave movement of the early 1970s, which also included directors Masoud Kimiai and Nasser Taqvai.

On October 15, 2023, Iranian filmmaker Dariush Mehrjui and his wife, actress Vahideh Mohammadifar, were fatally stabbed by an unknown assailant at their residence at Zibadasht, near the city of Karaj. The couple were pronounced dead at the scene.
