The original line-up featured vocalist Josey Scott Sappington, drummer Todd Poole, bassist Dave Novotny and guitarists Chris D'Abaldo and Wayne Swinny. The band played their first show on Halloween, October 31, 1996 with Sappington dressed in a nun costume and Novotny dressed in a voodoo costume.

Rise Up is the ninth studio album by American rock band Saliva. The record was released on April 29, 2014. [1] [2] It was also the last studio album by Saliva under Rum Bum Records and is the last to feature bassist Dave Novotny who was replaced by Brad Stewart. The album charted at 158 on the Billboard 200.
