Maine served as president and chancellor from 1977 to 2000, introducing bachelor’s programs in the 1980s and master’s programs in the 1990s.
The College of Arts and Sciences provides students with the foundational knowledge, skills, and degree programs necessary for personal, academic, and professional growth. These skills encompass analytical and critical thinking, communication and collaboration, mathematical and scientific literacy, and professional excellence and integrity.
