About Us. Dean Close School is a co-educational Boarding and Day School which provides continuity of education from age 2 to 18. The School was established in 1886, and is set in 50 acres of parkland in the centre of Cheltenham.

Dean Close School is a small and friendly school for boys and girls, with a strong House system and a culture of learning and curiosity. The Senior School offers a wide range of academic, creative and sporting opportunities, as well as a vibrant community and a positive future.
Als einzige Schule in Cheltenham erfreut sich die Dean Close an einer Verbindung zur renommierten Leiths School of Food and Wine in London. Schüler können hier das branchenweit anerkannte Basic Certificate in Food and Wine erhalten und lernen eine Mischung aus moderner und traditioneller Küche sowie alle Grundfertigkeiten des Kochens.
Die Dean Close School liegt auf einem 20 Hektar großen Campus, nicht weit vom Zentrum der schönen westenglischen Stadt Cheltenham entfernt. Nebst akademischer Stärke ist die Schule besonders für sein starkes Sportprogramm (Hockey!), gute Musik, Kunst und gutes Produktdesign bekannt.
