In January, when Larry Ramos, the leader of the ’60s singing group The Association, became too sick to perform, he asked his younger brother Del Ramos to assume creative leadership of the band. The first real test came on May 9 at a North Carolina concert, nine days after Larry passed away on April 30.
Since 2014, founding members Jim Yester and Jules Alexander have been leading the current line-up of the Association, which includes Bruce Pictor, Paul Holland, Del Ramos, and Jordan Cole. Alexander and Yester in 1966.

DEL RAMOS originally from HONOLULU, HI Sings bass, baritone & tenor along with playing bass. In the 60’s he was with the group Summerhill and Randy Spark’s New Society. Del is orginal member Larry Ramos' younger brother and currently lives in Anaheim, CA. JORDAN COLE originally from PORTLAND, OR

The current version of the band is led by Jules Alexander and Jim Yester, as well as Del Ramos, brother of Larry Ramos, and Jordan Cole, son of Brian Cole. During the 1970s and 80s, the band went through numerous line-up changes, with, at one point, only one original member in the band.
