Dion chante Plamondon is entirely comprised of songs written by Québécois songwriter Luc Plamondon. In June 1991 Céline traveled to Paris to record two songs at Michel Berger’s studio Face B. The songs are for the album Tycoon , an English-language version of Starmania , the famous French rock-opera by Plamondon and Berger.
Soon after the release of her breakout first album in English (Unison), Celine Dion countered with this stunning French-language release.....a brilliant collaboration with one of Quebec's best lyricists, Luc Plamondon, and great tunes composed by Aldo Nova, Germain Gauthier, François Cousineau and Richard Cocciante.
