Manuel Carrero, who had been playing with a band named The Jiant, replaced Allen as bassist after nearly five years away from the group. Durijah Lang, who was also a former band member from their early years, replaced Larry Gorman behind the kit. The band did not fill its vacant guitarist role and continued as a four-piece.

Glassjaw ist eine US-amerikanische Post-Hardcore -Band. Carrero's Glassjaw bandmate Durijah Lang took over drumming duties, and recorded on Under the Boards. The album was released on October 30, 2007, through Vagrant Records. Chris Conley said in an interview that the next Bug Sessions would be a collection of live songs recorded on their 30-date acoustic tour.

After the release of the albums Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Silence and Worship and Tribute, the lineup added bassist Manuel Carrero and drummer Durijah Lang in 2005 to form their most permanent lineup, which remained stable until 2015.
