Sadly, Floyd and his band can only muster songs that sound like diet versions of Eddie's heydays in the 70s. I really want to rate this higher. If you like Eddie Floyd, you'll enjoy this album more than you ought to - but certainly don't use Eddie Loves You So as your introduction to the Stax legend.
