Elmar Klos ( 26. ledna 1910 Brno [1] – 19. července 1993 Praha) byl český filmový režisér, scenárista, dramaturg, pedagog a filmový manažer. Vytvořil výraznou tvůrčí dvojici s Jánem Kadárem . Životopis. Začínal ještě v pionýrské éře němého filmu, kde se postupně seznámil prakticky se všemi filmovými profesemi a zahrál si i několik epizodních rolí.
Elmar Klos (26 January 1910 – 19 July 1993) was a Czech film director. He collaborated for 17 years with his Slovak colleague Ján Kadár and with him won the 1965 Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film for the film The Shop on Main Street.
