Elton William Gallegly (born March 7, 1944) is a former U.S. Representative from California. A Republican, he last represented California's 24th congressional district. He previously represented the 23rd and 21st Districts, and served from 1987 to 2013. He did not seek re-election in 2012.

A Lifetime of Service. Elton Gallegly served from January 3, 1987 until January 3, 2013 completing 13 terms of service in the U.S. House of Representatives. He is the longest serving congressional representative in Ventura County history and served with five presidents.
