Ethel Carow Derby (née Roosevelt; August 13, 1891 – December 10, 1977) was the youngest daughter and fourth child of the President of the United States Theodore Roosevelt.

Ethel Roosevelt Derby was the youngest daughter of Theodore and Edith Roosevelt and a nurse and Red Cross volunteer during World War I. She worked at Sagamore Hill, the family home of her father, and helped to preserve its legacy for future generations. She died in 1977 and is buried at Youngs Cemetery in Oyster Bay, N.Y.
Ethel Carow Roosevelt Derby (1891-1977) was the daughter of Theodore and Edith Kermit Roosevelt. Pragmatic and compassionate even as a girl, Ethel graduated from Washington’s Cathedral School for Girls in 1906, and made her debut in the White House two years later.
