Ferdinand Christian Baur (* 21. Juni 1792 in Schmiden bei Fellbach; † 2. Dezember 1860 in Tübingen) war ein evangelischer Kirchen- und Dogmenhistoriker. Baur: Ferdinand Christian B., geb. den 21. Juni 1792 † 2. Decbr. 1860, war der Sohn eines protestantischen Predigers, welcher zuerst Pfarrer in dem würtembergischen Dorfe Schmiden, in der Nähe von Stuttgart, seit 1800 Dekan in Blaubeuren (zwei Meilen von Ulm) war, und im Juli 1817 gestorben ist.
