Fiqrete Shehu (née Sanxhaktari; 17 November 1919 – 11 September 1988) was an Albanian politician during the Communist Era. She was the wife of former Prime Minister Mehmet Shehu. Biography. She was born on 17 November 1919. Shehu was member of the General Council of the Party of Labour of Albania since April 1952.

25. Okt. 2023 · At 14.00, in the village of Belsh in Elbasan, Fiqrete Shehu and her son, Skënder Shehu, were arrested. The accusation was formulated with only three words: "Enemies of the Party".
