Am 29. November 2002 nahm er am Gedenkkonzert für George Harrison in der Royal Albert Hall teil. Als Mitglied der Allstar-Band Traveling Wilburys war er auf beiden Alben zu hören sowie auch in einigen Musikvideos zu sehen. Im Dokumentationsfilm zum ersten Album wurde Keltner als „Buster Sidebury“ vorgestellt.
