Ford Madox Ford ( Merton, 17 december 1873 - Deauville, 26 juni 1939) was een Engels schrijver en publicist. Zijn eigenlijke naam Ford Hermann Hueffer veranderde hij in 1919 in Ford Madox Ford ter ere van zijn grootvader, de Prerafaëlitische kunstschilder Ford Madox Brown. Hij bediende zich soms van de pseudoniemen Fenil Haig en Daniel Chaucer .
Biography. Ford Madox Ford was born Ford Hermann Hueffer in 1873 in Merton, Surrey. He later changed his name to Ford Madox Hueffer and, finally, Ford Madox Ford, in honour of his maternal grandfather, the painter Ford Madox Brown. Because of his grandfather, he spent a lot of his childhood with various figures of the pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood.

Ford Madox Ford (Merton, Surrey, 17 de dezembro de 1873 – Deauville, 26 de junho de 1939) foi um romancista, poeta, crítico e jornalista inglês, amigo de muita influência sobre Ezra Pound. Frequentou em Paris os mesmos círculos que os escritores James Joyce , Ernest Hemingway e Gertrude Stein , e fundou o jornal literário English Review, que teve Joseph Conrad como colaborador-chefe.
