Frank Potenza (guitarist) Frank Potenza (born February 10, 1950) is an American jazz guitarist. Early life. A native of Providence, Rhode Island, Potenza started playing his sister Norma's acoustic guitar.
Frank Potenza is a protege of Joe Pass and a versatile performer, composer, and educator with ten solo albums and a Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame induction. He offers online master classes, books, and a documentary film about Joe Pass on his website.
Francis Potenza (November 11, 1933 – August 23, 2011) was an American police officer for the New York City Police Department and security guard. He later became a television actor for the late-night show Jimmy Kimmel Live!. He appeared as Jimmy Kimmel's "Uncle Frank" on the ABC show as a regular from 2003 until his death in 2011.
