    Started by first tenor Mike Mincieli and Rosario Morice (Sonny) who later left the group when he joined the Navy, the original group coalesced in 1958 – also including Nick Santo (Santamaria) lead baritone, second tenor Frank Reina, baritone Vinnie Narcardo, and bass John Cassese.

  3. Frank began singing with local groups in the neighborhood as a teenager. In 1958 Frank met The Capris at a church dance in Brooklyn. The group liked Frank's vocal ability and asked him to join the group. Frank is on all of The Capris' recordings. He is as versatile with his live performances as he is with his vocal harmonies.
