Frida recorded her first English-language solo album in 1982, ABBA’s final year together. The album was called Something’s Going On, and was produced by Phil Collins. In 1982, Frida felt it was time to record a solo-album again, this time in English and aimed at the international market. ABBA were spending less and less time together.
The backing vocals are sung by Lyngstad herself and Collins. "I Know There's Something Going On" was released in the summer of 1982 and became a major success for Frida.
