Michael Geoffrey Ralphs (born 31 March 1944, Herefordshire) [1] is an English retired musician, vocalist and songwriter, who was a founding member of rock bands Mott the Hoople and Bad Company. [2] Career. Ralphs began his career as a teenager, playing with blues -rock band the Buddies. [3] .

Having recorded his first session with the Buddies in 1964, it took Mick Ralphs nearly 20 years to make a solo album ("Take This!" in 1984). He finally left Bad Company in 2001 and has been working as a solo artist since - even teaming up with Ian Hunter for a short UK tour in 2002. This discography details Mick's solo career.
